Engine (Power)

The Edge's powerful performance comes courtesy of an intercooled turbo four-cylinder engine that generates 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard in the SE, SEL, ST-Line, and Titanium trims. If you need even more power, go with the ST, which comes equipped with a twin-turbo premium V-6 that puts out 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to this impressive output, the ST can tow 3,500 pounds. Both engines in the Edge lineup come with start-stop technology that shuts the engine off when the Edge pulls up to a stop sign or red light, conserving fuel.

Performance

Every Ford Edge is built to perform. Ford pairs the four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the ST's V-6 engine pairs with a seven-speed automatic transmission featuring steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Both systems enable the Edge to accelerate smoothly and handle effortlessly. In a first for the lineup, Ford equips every 2022 Edge with all-wheel drive, making every trim level ideal for off-road adventures.

Interior

With seating for five and up to 73.4 cubic feet of cargo space, the Edge gives you plenty of room for family, friends, and fun.
