Engine (Power)

The 2022 Ford F-150 has five engine options, depending on the trim you pick. The standard engine is a 3.3-liter V-6 engine that produces up to 290 horsepower. You can also get a 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6 that garners 325 horsepower. Next is the popular 5.0-liter V-8, the standard power plant on the King Ranch and Platinum trims, making 400 horsepower. An engine quickly becoming a favorite among truck enthusiasts is the 3.5-liter Ecoboost twin-turbo V-6 that puts out 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. The final option is the only diesel engine, a 3.0 turbo-diesel V-6 engine, making 250 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque.

Performance
