Trim Levels (Exterior)
Choose from six trim levels for the all-new Ford F-250, starting with the low-frills XL and XLT models. The trims become increasingly luxurious as you move up from the Lariat and King Ranch models in the middle to the Limited and Platinum models at the top. Select from seven updated grille styles that are designed to maximize airflow and cooling. LED headlights are now also available for all trims.
Ford offers the standard STX, Sport, and Black packages for its F-250 Super Duty pickup trucks. There are also two new packages. The XL Off-Road package boasts 33-inch all-terrain tires, a lifted suspension, raised front air dams for better clearance, skid plates, water-fording axle vent tubes, and an electronic locking rear differential. The Tremor Off-Road Package features a front-end lift with uniquely tuned off-road suspension, heavy-duty running boards, 18-inch wheels, 35-inch Goodyear DuraTrac tires, rock-crawling drive mode, a Dana front axle, and Trail Turn Assist.
Engine (Power)
Under the hood of the all-new Ford F-250, the standard 6.2-liter gas V-8 engine gets upgraded to a new 6.8-liter design. There's also a new 6.7-liter high-output Power Stroke diesel V-8 engine. You can also choose Ford's tried-and-true 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 Godzilla engine or the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V-8. All engines are mated with one of Ford's two new 10-speed automatic transmissions, which offer different gear ratios. All models but the base XL come standard with four-wheel drive.
Performance
When it comes to towing capacity, the all-new Ford F-250 is at the top of its class. Built with heavy towing in mind, the Super Duty features a maximum payload capacity of 8,000 pounds and towing capability of up to 40,000 pounds. Trailer assist features include onboard scales to estimate cargo weight, tongue-weight distribution guidance, and Trailer Navigation to optimize your route based on your extra weight.
Interior
The F-250 might be all work on the outside, but it has plenty of fun features on the inside. An 8-inch touchscreen display comes standard in the XL trim, while the higher-end trims come equipped with a 12-inch screen. There's also a customizable 12-inch digital gauge cluster with four USB ports. Other available features include two B&O sound systems and a wireless charging pad.
Safety Features
If safety is on your mind, Ford has you covered. Standard and available driver-assistance features in the 2023 Ford F-250 include blind-spot warning, intersection turn assistance, forward-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. There are also automatic load-leveling headlights, automatic emergency braking, parking sensors, driver monitoring, and a camera system that boasts up to 28 different views.
