Trim Levels of the 2022 Ford F-250

Ford has taken great strides with the introduction of the new 2022 Ford F-250. Now available at Boyd Brothers Ford, the 2022 F-250 comes in a wide range of trims, each with plenty of features and capabilities to satisfy even the most demanding of Ford enthusiasts. Read on below to learn more about each of the trim levels of the 2022 F-250 and what they have to offer.

Trim Levels of the 2022 Ford F-250

1. XL

The base trim level of the 2022 F-250 is called the XL trim. Despite being the 2022 F-250’s base trim, the XL trim comes with a wide range of infotainment, quality-of-life, driver assistance, and towing features, laying a solid foundation for the trims that follow. Infotainment features include a 4-speaker audio system, a USB-C port, a 4.2-inch display, AM/FM radio, and Wi-Fi for up to ten devices.

Quality-of-life features include single-zone air conditioning, vinyl flooring and upholstery, remote start/lock/unlocking, manually extendable side mirrors, and more. Driver assistance and towing features include trailer sway control, an SOS post-crash alert system, a trailer tow package, hill start assist, a trailer hitch receiver, and a removable tailgate.


2. XLT

Up next is the 2022 F-250’s XLT trim, which builds on the XL trim by upgrading the infotainment system with an 8-inch screen, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and a 110-volt outlet. Upgrading to the XLT trim also adds quality-of-life and driver assistance features such as carpeting, a navigation system, cloth upholstery, forward-collision avoidance, and blind-spot monitoring.


3. Lariat

The Lariat builds on the XLT trim by upping the center screen from 8 inches to a 12-inch touchscreen and upping the 4.2-inch gauge cluster screen to 8 inches. The 12-inch screen runs Ford’s latest SYNC 4 infotainment software. The Lariat trim also adds a range of luxurious features such as leather-trimmed seats, a 10-way power adjustable driver seat and 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-folding mirrors, power-adjustable pedals, and dual-zone climate control.



4. King Ranch

The King Ranch trim adds unique aesthetic features such as an antique leather treatment on the seats and door panels and faux wood grain paneling in the doors. This trim also adds several quality-of-life features.



5. Platinum

The Platinum trim adds premium features such as memory settings for the seats, steering wheel and adjustable pedals, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, power-folding door mirrors, and heated and cooled front seats.



6. Limited

As the 2022 F-250’s most luxurious trim, the Limited trim adds a twin-panel power moonroof, dark ash wood trim on armrests and center console, a leather-wrapped upper instrument panel surface, illuminated scuff plates, a suede headliner, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
